CLARE HOOPER DRUMMOYNE ARTIST
From the beginning Clare has worked boldly with colour, line, and form. Her sense of colour is dynamic and exciting taking us to a new vibrant world. The art is a response to her surroundings, the things she sees, research on animals, all coming together in an expressive and imaginative way. Spontaneity is the key to her work where the images flow with lyrical fun, often showing adorable naïve characters that play on the canvas.
Clare has won many awards and showed her work in exhibitions around Australia. In 2015/16 Clare was accepted into an innovative programme at Sydney University; Uni 2 Beyond, to study art. During this time, she learnt etching, printmaking, and mixed media.
Clare is a prolific painter and loves to share her work in the form of canvases, cards and images which are used on business cards, bags and clothing.
